Focus |
- Its unique collection focuses
on Métis history and cultures and on issues of
concern to Métis and First Nations communities.

- All students of GDI/Dumont Technical
Institute (DTI) programs, GDI/DTI faculty and
staff and members of the Métis community. Public
access borrowers must present identification at
the Regina Branch. Saskatoon and Prince Albert
collection do not circulate to on-campus users.

| Governance
Structure |
- The GDI Board is composed of
6 members with 4 alternate members and an additional
representative from the MN-S. An alternate appointed
by MN-S brought the maximum Board representation
to 12 members. The Board is regionally represented,
with 2 members representing the southern, central
and northern areas of the province.

- SIFC is governed by a board
of governors. The library has a committee with
appointed representatives from each of the campus
areas, and student representatives. The head librarian
is on the committee in an ex-officio capacity.

- The Board of Governors of the
Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations is the
governing body for the library, with influence
from the President and the Director of Library
and Information Services
