During
the 1983-84 school year a scholarship fund was set up for full time
students
attending the Library Technician program at SIAST. It was named
in
memory of Dorothy Roberts, a graduate of the Library Technician
Program.
The
scholarship is presented
in the third semester of the second year of the Library &
Information
Technology Program at SIAST, Kelsey Campus.
Requirements:
The
scholarship is
awarded to a full-time, continuing student and is awarded based on
academic
achievement and a short essay. An official transcript from the
applicants
first year of the program must be submitted with the application.
