This research project examines various common user interface products in the library software market today. It was determined that Common User Interface was a much broader vision than much of the research done to date, which focusses on metasearching. Although standards are in development, they appear to be in early development and consortia needs are not yet well described at all. It was decided not to pursue any further research at this time but to focus energies on continued implementation and development of the province-wide e-library services.
